My 2014 update.

Been very occupied for the past few years. I guess life just took a different turn. Working life really sucks but still i need a job to keep buying new kits. Lol. 

Anyway, i decided to get my engine started again for the local modelling competition, Mcon 2014. I am aiming to send about 2 models this year. A Tamiya Enigma and Academy King Tiger. 

Enigma been sitting on my shelf for over a couple of months already. Primed and ready to be painted while the King Tiger is in still in WIP mode. 

I must admit, trying to come back to the scene after a long hiatus is really a bitch. So many things have changed. I need to catch-up. New painting methods, new model companies (eg. Meng Model, Takom, Kitty Hawk), new products (AMMO by Mig), i think i can go on and on with the list. 

With all that being said, i am really looking forward to start this year by finishing the Enigma followed by the King Tiger. 

Ok, enough talk. Time to hit the workbench. Till then fellow modellers. 

RSAF F-16C

I have decided to 'invest' myself a local 'bird'. After having lots of thoughts, I feel it's time to have 1 in the Singapore scheme for my fellow countrymen.

The kit is a Hasegawa's F-16CJ and its markings from Scale Nutz 1/48 RSAF F-16C/D, Phoenix Squadron.

Anyway, i'm having this F-5E build-off with my dear friend Mark aka gb_madcat_sl.

Another good build-off to get my engines started.

Hi guys, sorry for the long hiatus. Been busy with life and work but it is NOT the end of my modelling passion.

Anyway, it has come to my attention that they are having Airfix Cup 2010 this year. WOW!!

What should i build this time? Can i get the Grand Winner for Master Class this year? LOL. Over confidence eh. =p

Well, since its been a while since i last did any model kit, i think i might go in low-profile this year. Something simple. Looking at my current stash, i have a few 'birds' i can do i must say. From the Mig-29, Red Arrow, F-16s(not again, LOL), S-3 Viking, F-18 and many more. I need to dig out some of them out soon and start building. =)

That's for now people, i think i will post up soon what i'm building for Airfix cup 2010. Till then stay safe and happy modelling. =)
